Wow the last day of June! Can you believe half the year is gone?  My, how the time flies!  Time for a vacation!  Now if only I can find a train.... hmm I see some tracks, but no train?  Guess I'll just wait and dance!  Where is our stranded tourist today?

Nice job yesterday on answering Dark Passage 2!  Yes, it's DP2... a lot of you guessed DP1, but that's actually the map that connects Collapsed Prison to Uruga.  DP2 connects Moonlight Tomb to Vine Tomb, and that's where yesterday's screenshot was taken.  So who were the winners?  Can leon increase his lead?  Can Lucky make a mad dash to 1st place on the last 3 days?  Let's see... Happy Humpday WFers!  Another day, another mysterious screenshot for your amusement....  A bridge off in the distance, the cool, clear water passing beneath my feet... the absolute picture of serenity.... until you notice the big ass sword on my shoulder!  The river is great for sending the bodies of the defeated down stream.... ^. ~  so where am I today?

Great job yesterday guys!  Of the nine guesses yesterday, six of you got it correct!  The answer was in fact, Uruga.  That icy peak is the very top of the Crystal Castle.  Congratulations to leonkennedyrulezz (5pts), superman1770 (2pts), and Ian (1pt)!  I think superman1770 is superman1779... but correct me if I'm wrong there.

Rise and shine WF? Sleuths!  The early bird gets the worm right?  Well that's exactly what we have here today in this special Early Morning Edition of Where's Fatal?  So as I soar above the treetops, I can't help but take in the scenery.... So where am I soaring this morning?  Hey that rhymes!

Okay for yesterday, the answer was Forest of Slumber!  The bridge is the one that connects the two areas that have the Lizard Knights and Joker Trumpys.  Some of you guessed AEW, but I'm pretty sure you MEANT to say FOS right?  Some of you even named the quest!  But probably in your haste, you picked the wrong map >. <!!  Anyway, today is about redemption!  So get your guesses in!

WF: June 27, 2011

Okay, so after a few difficult ones, it's a Monday, so I'm going to throw out an easy one... Ahhh a rustic bridge overlooking a flowing stream... if only we could stop and dip our feet in after hours of doing the same repeats!  So, where am I today?

Alright, for Sunday... yeah it was kind of a toughie!  A few of you guessed either Graveyard of the Dead or the 3x Abyss, I guess the gravestone gave you that impression... and that's exactly why it's there!  Gotta love red herrings like that.  The GOTD is more brownish in color though and the 3x Abyss... well you can't ride a mount in an Abyss ^. ~ ........ so where was this?

This was in the Cave of Memories!  That small quest map attached to Swamp of Dawn!  We had only two correct answers of the twelve that were submitted, so congratulations to helen_keller (5pts) and Avalyk (2pts)!  Two newcomers to the contest!  The updated standings are below:

Hmm here's today's screenie.... a wandering HolyKnight on her way to... school?  What the heck is that wall behind her?  Hmm... maybe she really is lost!  Alright Slueths, whip out your GPS trackers and find this wayward Cleric!  So, where am I today?

Muhahahha!  Wow, Fatal stumped the sleuths!  The answer to Friday's WF? was Sand Beach!  That screenshot was taken coming down one of the hills when you enter the map through the Roumen portal!  Years of training in the covert arts and sniper warfare trained me well!  Now where did I leave my gilly suit?

Another day, another location.  What the heck?  Am I up in a tree?  What's going on here?!  I guess today is a special "Jungle Edition" of WF?.  Too bad I didn't have the Veteran's Day costume, woulda looked killer as I hid in this tree, sniping the noobs from 1000m away!  Okay, so where am I?

Alrighty guys, another day, another bit of trivia.... what a dark and ominous place this looks like!  Hmm where could this be....... So where am I today guys?


Wow, yesterday's WF? was a doozy huh?  Of the 12 submissions, only 2 entries were correct... however one of those two didn't include a SparkID!  Ai-yah!  The first correct guess was submitted by leonkennedyrulezz... wow, he's good!

Anyway, the correct answer was Collapsed Prison.  Here's another vantage point of that area.... Sneaky sneaky bird-mode fooled ya!

You can make out that same square in the middle with the stairs leading down.... So just one winner yesterday, I'll update the standings a bit later.

WF: June 22, 2011

Happy Wednesday WF? Sleuths!  I take it you're all excited over last night's patch right!?  Haha me too!  *sigh*.... anyway, can't have great stuff every week, let's just keep our fingers crossed for bigger releases in the coming weeks!

So today's WF? is a special Bird-Mode edition... going into Bird-Mode allows me to venture into and see some places that most of you don't get to.. however, this particular screenie can be seen from other vantage points.... so genius where am I today?

Whoo yesterday's was tricky huh?  The correct answer was Vine Tomb!  That mine entrance mysteriously appeared one patch and never left, oddly though, it's just cosmetic and doesn't actually lead to any mine!  If you want to see it for yourself, head over to the Wolf/Fox/Werebear area as you enter from Dark Passage II, you'll see it there.

Good morning Sleuths!  Here is today's "WF?" entry.... ohh is that a rickety old mine entrance overgrown with weeds?  Wait, what?  Hmm.... where oh where could this be.... alright smarty-pants, where am I today?

Congratulations to all of you that answered the last WF? correctly!  The answer was Uruga.  That screenie was taken as an extreme closeup to the entrance to Crystal Castle.  That smokey-haze was generated by the swirling portal just behind me.  I had to time the screenshot to get as little of that smoke as possible...  For this one screenie, I'm going to grant a little bit of leeway on some of the correct answers.  Technically the answer should be "Uruga" since that is the MAP that I'm on.

Hi guys!  Well if you found this mini-blog, then you already know about my main one.  So why make another?  Well I wanted this "Where's Fatal?" to be a daily treasure hunt, so to speak, while my regular blog focused more on writing and stuff.  I didn't want these daily pictures taking away from my other works and having my posts there get cluttered up and bogged down.. so I figured this was a good way to do that!

So for now, I'll continue to post my "Where's Fatal?" images here, you're all welcome to make guesses as to where I am!  And here's the best part... prizes!

Every two weeks, I'll be awarding one 30-day dance to the player with the most points during the past two weeks.  I know it's not some humungo-major prize, but it's something right?  An event period will begin on Sunday and end the following Saturday, Pacific time..  So for the first installment, the contest runs from June 19, 2011 through July 2, 2011.  Each new run will begin immediately after the last.
