You can do an event on Bijou...people sign up and you set outspark times of when to find you. You could use your warlock for this. Just an idea. Although, rangers are best hiding...hehe.

ReplyDelete@Superman1779 - I wanted to give higher point value for first because I just thought it should mean more. I didn't think 2 2nd Place awards should be higher than 1 1st Place. I'll rethink it though if others feel the same.
ReplyDelete@FrostyFruit & Rex - Yeah, server specific events aren't ideal because not everyone plays on Bijou. While I could do a visit on every server, I don't think this event has quite the audience to make that practical. Nor do I have the time (lol).
@Everyone - I was thinking maybe a "Re-create My Screenshot" or something. Players would need to be able to actually get to the maps, screenie it, upload it, and submit it to me though. It's a lot of work for the player. If I did go with this idea, the prize would have to be better and the duration of the contest longer.
Any other ideas?

P.S. The Bijou idea ( Frostyfruit) has another problemen wich is time related.
By example I live in europe and cant join when you hide in the evening when it's like 3 clock in the morning here.
Ofcourse most of the readers are American but the second largest group is Dutch =D. That's all I guess. ...

ReplyDeleteYour re create and Frostys idea both have 1 problem they aren't quite noon friendly. For example I (lvl 58 cleric =D ) sees your screenshot in thorncave....
Now I just say thts easy that's in TC bit when I need to find you ( you prob won't hide in there) or need to re create the screen I have to go there past all the zombies and giant pigs and sneak past the alarms thingies past Karen to re create the screenshot. And that takes time and alot of dying. Hood that I'm a cleric so I can survive alot but there is a Limmit (black bears >.<) sorry for the long example just wanted to make my point clear :P

ReplyDeleteBut I agree with FrostyFruit, posting this in the event discussion part of the forums would definitely help, not like there are many new and exciting threads in there everyday anyway.
I would suggest maybe some kind of compensation or motivation for the honorable mentions after the top three guesses because sometimes I personally notice your new post awhile after it has been up and don't really feel like trying because mostly likely 3 people have already got it correct.
